Barista NC II

Goal:

To educate and produce 125 globally competitive Baristas with passion for environmental consciousness, sustainability, gender equality and innovative skilled by the end of 2024.


Objectives:

  • Enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of Barista NC II trainees to become gender-fair and globally competitive Barista and Coffee Shop Owners;
  • Instill environmental awareness by integrating 21st Century Skills and Green TVET practices and sustainability in the delivery of competency-based training;
  • Promote the value of innovation, support women empowerment; and
  • Produce at least 125 certified and job ready graduates.


Course Description:
This course consists of competencies that a person must achieve in the deliverance of good quality coffee in commercially-operated cafes or specialty coffee shops. This course is specific to a person who specializes in making coffee beverages.
