Barista NC II

Goal:

To educate and produce 125 globally competitive barista with passion for environmental consciousness, sustainability, gender equality and innovative skilled workforce by the end of 2025.


Objectives:

  • Enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of trainees of Barista NC II to become gender-fair and globally competitive barista and coffee shop owners;
  • Instill environmental awareness by integrating 21st century skills and Green TVET practices and sustainability in the delivery of competency-based training;
  • Promote the value of innovation, support women's empowerment and; and
  • Produce a least 125 certified and job-ready graduates.


Course Description:
This course consists of competencies that a person must achieve in the deliverance of good quality coffee in commercially-operated cafes or specialty coffee shops. This course is specific to a person who specializes in making coffee beverages.
