On April 30, 2019 a TVET forum was organized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) that aims to upscale the quality of technical-vocational education and training (TVET) programs for the development of a more competitive Filipino workforce.

During the forum, the participants also witnessed the TESDA System for TVET Accreditation and Recognition (STAR) awards to 131 programs of 53 Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs). The STAR rating system recognizes the accomplishments, innovations and improvements that the TVIs have instituted beyond the minimum requirements set in the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) set by TESDA. The system utilizes four major objective and evidence-based criteria, namely: Governance and Management, Curriculum Development, Support Services, and Program Performance Measures with corresponding stars.

The TESDA Women's Center (TWC) was one of the 53 TESDA TVIs that garnered 1 Star Level Ratings in Barista NC II, Dressmaking NC II, EPAS NC II, FBS NC II, Food Processing NC II, and Housekeeping NC II. In addition, the TWC earned 2 Star Level Ratings in Bartending NC II, Cookery NC II, and SMAW NC II. The validity period of the Star Awards is from April 2019 to April 2020. The TWC Chief, Maria Clara B. Ignacio received the various awards.

The TESDA Women's Center is also an internationally accredited TESDA Institution by the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission with Gold level status valid from July 26, 2018 to July 25, 2022. It is also an Approved Centre by the UK-based Institute of Motor Industry.
