The TWC team led by its Administrator Mylene H Somera, formally introduced the Center's mandate, vision, current and target program offerings and gender mainstreaming initiatives to the Philippine Commission on Women Chairperson Ermelita V. Valdeavilla in a courtesy visit on February 24, 2025 at PCW Building, Malacañan Palace Complex, Manila.

During the visit, Chair Valdeavilla expressed the Commission's interest to be part of the TWC Advisory Council and assist in ensuring gender equality and women's empowerment will be sustained and prioritized in TVET.
