The 1st quarter of the TWC Advisory Council meeting held on February 26, 2024 was about the action points from the previous meeting and the CY 2024 Workplan which mainly focused on the registration of new and emerging technologies, program on digital fluency and lifelong learning programs to increase socio-economic empowerment of women in the country.
Unanimously, the CAC members also strongly support the journey of the TWC on becoming the National Training and Development Center for Women through a Resolution.

Through the years, TESDA has reached millions of our kababayans by providing inclusive and free technical vocational education and training (TVET) nationwide through various training modalities.
The new TESDA slogan and logo demonstrate the Agency's stronger advocacy to give our kababayans even better access to quality-assured and globally competitive tech-voc, and communicate to the public TESDA's aspiration to provide public service with a heart aligned with the administration's brand of governance and leadership ‘Bagong Pilipinas’.

The new TESDA Women's Center Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) demonstrates the heart and vision of TWC.
While watching the AVP, we hope that you will be inspired by the commitment of TWC to be the lead Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institution of Excellence in empowering Filipino women.
TWC earnestly advocates for gender equality and social inclusion in TVET by ensuring the equal participation of women, men, and different profiles and sectors in society through skills training and other opportunities for wage or self-employment.
With guidance from the TWC management, the AVP is produced by the TWC - Research, Advocacy, Systems, and Gender and Development Unit (RAGADU).
The TESDA Women’s Center has been featured in the list of Promising and Innovative Practices in TVET by the UNESCO-UNEVOC, a designated international center for technical and vocational education and training (TVET) which supports and strengthens UNESCO’s Member States in their efforts to strengthen and upgrade their TVET systems.
