TESDA, through the TESDA Women's Center (TWC) and Unitec Pipe Manufacturing Corporation (UMPC), officially formed a partnership thru a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on 8 June 2023.

The MOA incorporates a joint effort towards the promotion of competency-based training delivery, industry-responsive education, providing sufficient technology and training facility to make learning conducive and skills training accessible to Filipino women as a step in nation building, thereby increasing productivity and improving lives.

Part of the agreement is for the UPMC to support the renovation and upgrading of TWC Plumbing training facility.

The TESDA Director General Danilo Cruz and UPMC's Managing Director Gregory Yap led the MOA signing which was also witnessed by TESDA Deputy Director General for Special Concerns Vidal Villanueva III, UPMC's Operations Manager Ferdinand Gabriel, Acting TWC Chief Mylene Somera and TWC staff members.
