The Cagayan De Oro (Bugo) School of Arts and Trades (COBSAT) from TESDA Region X conducted a benchmarking activity to TWC on October 19, 2022. The benchmarking was focused on the Center's Gender and Development (GAD) activities and best practices in the training delivery of various qualifications under the tourism sector.

The TWC extends its appreciation to the team from COBSAT led by Acting Vocational Instruction Supervisor Eduardo Madrona, Administrative Officer IV Maria Rowena Paña, and Executive Assistant to the Regional Director Stephen Mercado.

During their visit, TWC's Supervising TESD Specialist, Ms. Mylene Somera presented the TWC Briefer followed by a presentation on gender mainstreaming strategies discussed by Ms. Joenna Tabu Tattao, Senior TESD and GAD Specialist. The tour of facilities was led by Ms. Gerrelen Balbin, Training Management Unit Head.
