APACC confers Gold-level accreditation to TWC

The Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) has conferred Gold-level accreditation to the TESDA Women's Center. Hailed with due recognition as another TESDA Technology Institution upholding the international standards in terms of facilities and services, the award is valid for four years from June 2018 to June 2022. The TWC garnered a total of 473 points out of 500. During the on-site visit by the APACC team to the TWC on June 18-19, 2018, the Center was re-assessed according to the seven criteria set by the APACC namely: Governance and Management; Teaching and Learning; Human Resources; Research and Development; Image and Sustainability; Support to Students; and Other Services. With the full support of the TWC Chief, Maria Clara Ignacio and all the Trainers and non-teaching staff members, the TWC team leaders who exerted their best efforts to achieve excellence for the seven criteria were: Ritchie Briagas; Gerrelen Balbin; Mylene Somera; Lucia Tabu, Michael William Del Rosario; Kimberly Bautista; and Mindy Lee Villegas. It is a proud moment for the TWC with the APACC awarding ceremony to be organized very soon. Everyone is congratulating one another and expressing delight on the success of the TWC in attaining the gold level accreditation, an internationally recognized hallmark of excellence conferred by the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission.
