TWC Hosts First Stakeholders Forum

The TESDA Women’s Center hosted the 1st Stakeholders Forum for 2025 centered on the theme "Bridging the Skills and Gender Gap for a Progressive Future" on April 24, 2025.

The event featured essential discussions on Area-Based Demand Driven TVET, Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET), and strategies to close the gender gap in TVET.

The forum was participated by the active partners of TWC from various industries including construction, ICT, hospitality, and tourism, along with members of the Center Advisory Council and representatives from the government sector.

The discussion was led by foremost resource speakers as follows: DDG Nelly Nita N. Dillera of ODDG for Partnerships and Community-Based TVET, AED Katherine Amor A. Zarsadias of Planning Office and Marie Aubrey J. Villaceran, PhD. of the UP Center for Women's and Gender Studies with the event expertly moderated by ED Floramel Joy C. Songsong of the Partnerships and Linkages Office.

This significant event concluded with a promising opportunity for a more purposive collaboration and meaningful change as we work towards a brighter and more inclusive programs ensuring that we are building our workforce not only to become skilled but also adaptable to the challenges of a rapidly changing demand of the industry.
