TWC and TESDA GTC Host Earth Month Celebration through Green TVET Forum

The TESDA Women's Center and TESDA Green Technology Center jointly hosted the Earth Month celebration through the 2025 Green TVET Forum, themed "Skilled for Work, Responsible for M.E." on April 22, 2025.
The first part of the one-day program featured the Green TVET Forum, where vital topics such as Skills for Just Transition, Climate Action, and Waste Management, including valuable insights on Electronic Recycling and Sustainable Packaging were interconnectedly presented by esteemed resource speakers: Ms. Georgina M. Pascual, National Coordinator, ILO; Ms. Gwyneth Anne Palmos, Programme Analyst, UNDP; Engr. Mel Laconsay, Compliance and Sustainability Manager, HMR Envirocycle Phils., Inc. and Mr. Dane Archibald G. Balanon, Science Research Specialist I, DOST-ITDI.
With nearly 400 participants joined in person, via Zoom, and FB Live, they also witnessed the turnover of e-Recyclable Bins provided by HMR Envirocycle encouraging TESDA employees, trainees, and graduates to drop off their e-waste.
Together, were making significant strides toward a sustainable future!
