The TWC as the first institution in the Philippines with Platinum Level award in the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC), hosted the benchmarking activity of the Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (TESDA-CSITE) on June 10, 2024. The CSITE group was led by Felixberto B. Matute Jr., the Acting Administrator of CSITE.

The benchmarking activity aims to learn from TWC's best practices and gain insights on the process of APACC application. During the visit, the TWC team presented information about the affirmations, commendations, and recommendations from TWC's APACC validations in 2018 and 2023. The TWC team also shared details about TWC's 2023 accomplishments.

Additionally, the CSITE group was given a tour of training laboratories and facilities.

The benchmarking activity provided an opportunity for the CSITE team to observe and learn from TWC's wins from challenges and best practices that can also be applied to CSITE to improve their current systems and operations.
