In line with TESDA's commitment to gender equality, TESDA, through its Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System, collaborates with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) to integrate inclusivity into standards, curriculum, and learning materials.

From May 9-10, 2024, GAD Focals and Trainers holding Trainers Methodology (TM) Level II from 17 TESDA Regional/Provincial Offices, with observers from the Central office, participated in the Pilot Testing of the Gender-Responsive Checklist for Instructional Materials in TVET at Brentwood Suites, Quezon City.

During this Pilot Testing, participants actively utilized the checklist, offering invaluable feedback for its enhancement before its official launch. This initiative highlights TESDA's unwavering commitment to fostering a training environment that embraces gender-fair and inclusive TVET.
