TESDA Women's Center Oversees another Batch of Gender Sensitivity Training to Trainees

Following the successful conduct of Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) on the first week of May, the TWC team of facilitators conducted the 2nd batch of GST for the trainees on May 9, 2024.

The whole-day GST was attended by a total of 91 trainees from the following qualifications: Food & Beverage Services NC II, Housekeeping NC II, Bartending NC II, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II.

Participants were composed of 54% female and 42% male. The training covered foundational Gender and Development (GAD) concepts, SOGIESC 101, and involved various activities to analyze the causes of gender issues and recommend solutions for a more inclusive and safe TVET environment.

TWC regularly conducts GST for Trainees and their parents or guardians, Trainers and other staff members, Industry Partners, and people in the community.
