TWC Conducts Trainee's Orientation Programs for New Trainees

The Trainee's Orientation Program was conducted on May 2, 2024 at the TESDA Women's Center, Tandang Sora Hall. The program was conducted for the new batch of trainees enrolled in the Barista NC II, Driving NC II, Dressmaking NC II, and GMAW NC II training programs of the Center.

The purpose of the Trainee's Orientation Program is to familiarize the new trainees with various aspects of the TWC. This includes providing information on the organizational structure, introducing them to the faculty and staff, explaining the rules and regulations they need to follow, and highlighting the importance of Gender and Development and the Committee on Decorum and Investigation.

During the orientation, the trainees were also informed about the services provided by the Center, such as health monitoring, guidance programs, the TWC Learning Resource Center, and the facilities available to them. They were introduced to the Trainees Council, the TWC Alumni Association, as well as the iSTAR Program.

Overall, the Trainee's Orientation Program served as a comprehensive introduction to the TESDA Women's Center and its various resources and support systems for the new trainees.
