On April 30, 2024, the TESDA Women's Center organized the second part of their Earth Day Activity, titled "UpStyle: Upcycling Waste with Style."

The event brought together TESDA employees, trainees, and graduates, both in person and virtually. ED Floramel Joy C. Songsong, the Executive Director for Partnerships and Linkages Office, was also in attendance.

The workshop was led by Marissa "Mawie" Cruz, the founder of UpStyle, who guided participants through hands-on activities like paper pulp/paper clay painting, and creating unique art pieces.

The event fostered connections among eco-enthusiasts and like-minded individuals passionate about sustainability, and the participants' artworks were showcased and awarded prizes for the most beautiful creations.
