TESDA Women's Center Organizes Hybrid Seminar on Solar Power and Energy

The TESDA Women's Center successfully organized a hybrid seminar on the advantages of solar power and energy on April 23, 2023 at the Tandang Sora Hall, TESDA Women's Center.
The seminar had a total of 661 participants, including TESDA employees, trainees, and graduates, both in person and virtually. The Chief of Staff from the Office of the Secretary, Abe D. Arenga, was also present at the seminar.
The resource persons for the seminar were Danilo B. Jugno, the General Manager of Solar Grid Alternatives, Inc., and Engr. Nigel Paul Gamponia, who specializes in Design & Construction at SGA.
The seminar was part of TWC's Earth Day activities, aimed at promoting sustainable practices that contribute to reducing carbon emissions and achieving energy independence. The discussion focused on the numerous benefits of solar energy. Participants gained knowledge about the economic advantages, such as cost savings and job creation, as well as the environmental benefits, including mitigating climate change and preserving the planet for future generations.
