TESDA Women’s Center Welcomes Universiti Malaysia Pahang for TVET Study Visit

On May 6, 2026, the TESDA Women’s Center (TWC) welcomed a delegation from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah for a study visit focused on strengthening partnerships and advancing quality assurance in TVET.

Led by TS. Dr. Mohd Shahrir Mohd Sani, Associate Professor at the Academy for Advanced TVET, the delegation was warmly received by TWC Administrator Ms. Mylene H. Somera, Ms. Kimberly G. Bautista, Supervising TESD Specialist, along with other TWC personnel. Also present during the visit was Ms. Michelle Guiritan-Juarez, Senior TESD Specialist from the Foreign Relations and Project Development Division of the Planning Office.

The visit included a tour of the training facilities and presentations on the Philippine TVET system and TWC’s best practices. The engagement underscores a shared goal of strengthening quality, fostering innovation, and sustaining progress in TVET initiatives.
