TWC Holds 2025 Industry Consultation to Strengthen TVET Skills and Employability

The TESDA Women’s Center successfully conducted its Industry Consultation 2025 with the theme “Strengthening Industry Partnerships for TVET Skills Development and Employability.”

Held on November 25, 2025 at Tandang Sora Hall, the activity brought together 34 industry partners from the Tourism; Garments/Fashion Technology; Electrical and Electronics; Construction/Metals and Engineering; and Health, Social, and Community Development sectors.

The program opened with welcome remarks from Ms. Mylene Somera, Center Administrator, followed by an inspiring message from the Deputy Director General of Partnerships and Linkages, Nelly Nita N. Dillera, CESO II.

Participants engaged in sectoral breakout sessions to review TWC’s Competency-Based Training curricula, assess industry-relevant skills, and recommend enhancements to strengthen the employability of women graduates.

The event concluded with the presentation of sectoral insights and the awarding of certificates of appreciation.
