12-01-2025

On December 1, 2025, the TESDA Women’s Center trainees and employees, gathered for a Lifelong Learning Program featuring a Basic Self-Defense Class on Martial Arts for Women, highlighting Muay Thai and Boxing.

Sgt. Jaime M Lavarias Jr. PN (M)(Res), who served as the resource speaker, led the session with hands-on demonstrations and practical techniques that participants can apply in real-life situations. His guidance underscored not only physical preparedness but also situational awareness, discipline, and the importance of personal safety.

Through this initiative, the TESDA Women’s Center continues to champion a safer and more empowered community for women—equipping them with the knowledge and skills to stand strong, stay alert, and confidently protect themselves.
