TESDA Holds 12th GFPS Assembly Hybrid Closing Program

The TESDA 12th GFPS Assembly Hybrid Closing Program was held on November 26, 2025. The event was joined by members of the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) - Technical Working Group, Regional GFPS and by TWC as the Secretariat.

The discussion commenced with the presentation of the status report on TESDA’s compliance with GAD requirements, discussed by Acting NITESD Executive Director and GFPS-TWG Chair Katherine Amor A. Zarsadias, who emphasized the agency’s progress and continuing commitments.

The assembly concluded with a meaningful closing message from DDG Rosanna A. Urdaneta, CESO II, Deputy Director General for Policies and Planning and the Chair of the GFPS- Executive Committee who encouraged participants to sustain their commitment and remain steadfast in pushing forward transformative and gender-responsive initiatives.

One of the key highlights was the presentation of the TESDA GAD Agenda 2025–2028 by Alvin Cloyd Dakis, a member of the National GAD Resource Pool of the Philippine Commission on Women. The agenda outlined the TESDA’s strategic priorities for advancing gender equality and ensuring that GAD initiatives remain responsive, inclusive, and sustainable in the coming years.
