On December 5, 2025, TESDA employees participated in the VAWCare Session: Psychological First Aid held at the TESDA Women’s Center as part of the 18-Day Campaign to End VAWC.

The first session was led by Atty. Maeshach F. Mariano, Head of the Legal Division, who provided an in-depth discussion on CODI processes and emphasized the key legal safeguards available to women.

The session also featured Ms. Janine Del Mundo, Co-Executive Director of Lunas Collective, who delivered a comprehensive overview of Psychological First Aid, highlighting practical and compassionate approaches to supporting individuals in high-stress or crisis situations.

Conducted in line with TESDA’s advocacy for women’s safety and empowerment, the session aimed to deepen staff understanding of appropriate responses to trauma and distress. It also sought to strengthen readiness, sensitivity, and the capacity to provide immediate and appropriate support to affected individuals.
