TESDA Women's Center Leads Series of Gender Mainstreaming Workshops in TVET

Spearheaded by the TESDA Womenâs Center, serving as the Authority's GAD Secretariat, the recently concluded "ððð«ð¢ðð¬ ð¨ð ðð¨ð«ð¤ð¬ð¡ð¨ð©ð¬ ðð¨ð« ððð§ððð« ððð¢ð§ð¬ðð«ððð¦ð¢ð§ð ð¢ð§ ðððð" are initiatives designed to build and reinforce the capabilities of TESDAâs GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) members nationwide. The workshops were facilitated by Mr. Alvin Cloyd Dakis, a distinguished member of the Philippine Commission on Women's National GAD Resource Pool.
Participants from the TESDA Central Office, TESDA Womenâs Center, and Regional Offices actively engaged in a meaningful and transformative learning journey through the following hybrid sessions:
â August 20, 2025 â GAD Refresher Program for the TESDA GFPS
â September 4-5, 2025 â Consultation-Workshop on Gender-Based Analysis in the TVET Sector September 9, 2025 â Gender-Responsive Planning Workshop and Vision Setting
â September 11-12, 2025 â Writeshop on the Formulation of TESDAâs GAD Strategic Plan 2025â2028
These relevant activities have significantly strengthened the knowledge, skills, and shared commitment of GFPS members, ensuring that TESDA remains a proactive and dynamic force in mainstreaming gender and development within the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
