TESDA Women's Center Advisory Council Convenes for 3rd Quarterly Meeting

On October 22, 2025, the TESDA Women’s Center (TWC) Advisory Council convened for its 3rd Quarterly Meeting, presided by Chair Pacita “Chit” Juan and attended by key members of the Council from various sectors — Ma. Aurora “Boots” Geotina-Garcia representing Non-Government Organizations, Carolyn Sobritchea from the Academe Sector, and Gilda Patricia Maquilan from the Business Sector. Joined virtually were Prof. Xavier “Prof X” Alpasa representing the Social Economy Sector, and Olivia Limpe-Aw from the Employer Sector.

Also present were representatives from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and the Office of the Deputy Director General for Policies and Planning (ODDG-PP).

The discussions focused on the presentation of actions taken from the previous meeting and proposed activities for the upcoming months, including the possible participation to the 2026 ASEAN Women Leaders' Summit.

The session reaffirmed the Council’s steadfast commitment to advancing women’s empowerment, strengthening partnerships, and promoting inclusive and gender-responsive skills development across the nation.
