On August 13, 2025, the TESDA Women’s Center (TWC) proudly hosted Ms. Kana Tashiro, a graduate student from Teikyo University, alongside Mr. Yoshiki Hirai from Mitsubishi Corporation.

The study visit is part of Ms. Tashiro’s practicum focused on Women’s Health and Labor Participation.

The visit highlighted the TWC’s comprehensive programs and services as well as its gender-responsive initiatives.

Following this, a focused group discussion allowed for deeper engagement on topics related to women’s health, skills training, and labor market participation.

The guests received a warm welcome from Ms. Mylene H. Somera, Center Chief of TWC, along with key personnel from the Research, Advocacy, Gender and Development Unit (RAGADU).

This collaborative exchange reinforces the center’s commitment to advancing gender-responsive program development and fostering inclusive workforce participation.
