The TESDA Women’s Center (TWC) conducted a two-day training entitled "Fundamentals of R&D with Workshop on Research Writing" on October 15-16, 2025, attended by key personnel of the Center. The activity aimed to strengthen participants’ foundational knowledge in research and development while enhancing their competencies in research writing.

Renowned experts from the University of the Philippines served as resource speakers. On the first day, Dr. Marie Aubrey J. Villaceran, Director of the UP Center for Women's Studies, and Ms. Senedith A. Delos Reyes, University Extension Specialist from the Training and Entrepreneurship Education Division (TEED) of UP ISSI, discussed core concepts and methodologies in R&D. On the second day, Ms. Melanie Cabotaje, also a University Extension Specialist from UP ISSI, facilitated an in-depth workshop on research writing techniques.

This initiative underscores TWC’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development, institutional capacity-building, and the promotion of evidence-based program implementation.
