He started as an Assistant Technical Trainer and Tool Keeper at Autohub Institute of Technology, where he gained valuable experience in technical training and resource management.

In 2022, Johmel enrolled in the Trainers Methodology Level I program at the TESDA Women's Center, seeking to deepen his understanding and skills in effective TVET classroom delivery, competency-based curriculum development, and comprehensive session planning.

After completing the program, Johmel was appointed as a Technical Trainer of Automotive Servicing at Autohub Institute of Technology in 2023-2024. He handled the Automotive NC 1 and served as the UPTRAS Focal Person.

Johmel's exceptional performance and dedication led to him having a position as a Technical Support Staff in the Qualification and Standard Office – Curriculum and Training Aids Division at the TESDA Central Office.

Johmel's journey is a testament to the transformative power of TVET education and the importance of continuous learning. He has expanded his technical expertise and developed a deep understanding of TVET education and its impact on individuals and communities.
