The TWC organized a TWC Staff Members' and Trainees' Sportsfest from 20-23 February 2007 to enhance the synergy and camaraderie among the staff members and trainees and build a positive team attitude among them for greater efficiency and productivity.

On this occasion, TWC has mobilized the participation of all staff members and trainees to this three-day event which included indoor and outdoor games such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, tug-of-war and sack race. TWC staff members and trainees were grouped into four (4) teams with assigned colors - Red Team, Orange Team, Green Team and Yellow Team. The event started with the four teams competing on cheer dancing showing their high spirits of teamwork.

One of the highlights of the three-day competition was the Search for the Binibining Palaro. To be a Binibining Palaro, the qualities of a true athlete such as sportsmanship, respect for others, including the members, officials and competitors and fair play among others. Ms. Welenze Manao from the HRM-Commercial Cooking and representing the Green Team was crowned as the TWC 2007 Binibining Palaro.

Showing great determination to win, the Green Team emerged victorious and was awarded the 2007 Overall Champion. In first place was the Red Team, followed by the Orange Team in second place, and the third place went to the Yellow Team.
