The TESDA Women’s Center (TWC) was honored to welcome distinguished representatives from Chiyoda Corporation and Cosmo Advance Technology Co., Ltd., together with the Philippine Welding Society (PWS), during their courtesy visit on July 9, 2026.
The delegation, composed of Mr. Okuji Yasuaki, Mr. Ryo Narita, Mr. Kawasumi Takayuki and Ms. Eriko Yamada, together with representatives from the Philippine Welding Society (PWS), was received by Kimberly G. Bautista, Supervising TESD Specialist; Ms. Gerrelen D. Balbin, Head of the Training Management Unit; and other key officials and personnel of the TESDA Women’s Center.
The courtesy visit provided an opportunity to discuss potential collaboration in connecting skilled TESDA graduates with employment opportunities while strengthening industry partnerships that support workforce development and promote quality technical education and skills training.
On the same day, the TWC had an alignment and consultation meeting with its industry partner, the Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP) for the registration of Photovoltaic (PV) Installation Systems program.
Through these sustained collaboration with industry partners and professional organizations, the TWC remains committed to enhancing the quality and relevance of its training programs, expanding employment opportunities for its graduates and developing a globally competitive and industry-responsive workforce.
