In celebration of National Women's Month 2026, the TESDA Women's Center with its partners- Taguig City Fire Station, HCG Philippines and UPMC, conducted a hands-on plumbing repair and maintenance training for women firefighters.
The program featured messages from DDG Nelly Nita Dillera, Deputy Director General for Partnerships and Linkages and FSINSP Lounel Lopez along with expert-led sessions by Edilberto Simblante and Engr. Delfin Palla highlighting practical skills, safety and industry standards.
This initiative affirms that women can thrive in technical trades with the right training, support and determination.
