TWC Conducts 4th Quarter CAC Meeting

Today, December 9, 2025, the TESDA Women’s Center held its 4th Quarterly Meeting of the Advisory Council, with members participating onsite and online via Zoom.

The meeting was presided by Council Chairperson Pacita “Chit” Juan, representing the Economic/Business Sector, and was attended onsite by Carolyn “Carol” I. Sobritchea, PhD (Academe Sector), Gilda Patricia C. Maquilan (Business Sector), and Teresita “Tes” M. Borgoños (Industry/Construction Sector).

Joining online were Ma. Aurora “Boots” D. Geotina-Garcia (Women NGO Sector), Olivia Limpe-Aw (Employer Sector), and Ma. Paloma B. Papa, PhD (Employer Sector), along with Philippine Commission on Women representatives Mildred Corral and Rose Jano.

The meeting covered the discussion and updating of action points from the previous session, the approval of a key resolution, the presentation of the TWC-CAC 2025 accomplishments, the proposed 2026 Work Plan, and other relevant matters.

Members were also honored by the presence of DDG Nelly Nita N. Dillera, Deputy Director General for Partnership and Linkages, who shared valuable insights that enriched the discussions.

The meeting underscored strategic approaches to influencing stakeholders to adopt a gender lens in planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating all TVET programs and activities—ensuring that gender equality remains central in every step of the process.
