TWC Welcomes KOREATECH Delegation to Strengthen Collaboration and Innovation in TVET

On July 7, 2026, the TESDA Women’s Center (TWC) welcomed a delegation from the Korea University of Technology & Education (KOREATECH) for a site visit focused on strengthening collaboration in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), fostering knowledge exchange and exploring innovative practices in skills development and training excellence.

The delegation was led by Prof. Sinchul Jang, Head of the Department of Employment Services Policy, with Mr. Woocheol Kim, Director of the Consortium Hub Bureau and Mr. Uncheol Shin, Researcher. They were warmly received by TWC Administrator Mylene H. Somera and Supervising TESD Specialist Kimberly G. Bautista. The team was also assisted by RTC-CALABARZON Administrator Gary G. Puaso.

The visit featured a tour of TWC’s training facilities, where the delegation was introduced to the Center’s best practices in technical and vocational education and training. The engagement highlighted the shared commitment of TWC and KOREATECH to strengthening quality, fostering innovation, and advancing sustainable progress in TVET initiatives.
