The 3-day Training of Trainers on the Utilization of Gender-Responsive Assessment Tools for Evaluating Instructional Materials in Technical Vocational Education was conducted from June 29, 2026 to July 1, 2026 at TESDA Women's Center.
Gathering more than fifty (50) trainers and GAD focal persons nationwide, this capacity-building initiative focused on embedding gender and development (GAD) core messages straight into the core of TVET curricula and instructional materials.
This milestone marks a crucial advancement in cultivating learning environments where every learner, feels accurately represented and fully empowered to excel in their chosen trade.
A massive thank you to our expert facilitators from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU) and dedicated organizers and participants for leading a progressive change — together, we are building a more gender-fair TVET, one instructional material at a time!
